Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor, and Doctor of Medicine in the Second Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, also the Department of Soft Tissue and Retroperitoneal Tumors, at Peking University Cancer Hospital. Graduated from Peking University Health Science Center with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in 2008, and obtained a doctoral degree from Peking University Clinical Oncology School in 2013. He was a visiting scholar at the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery and Artificial Organ Transplantation, University of Tokyo, Japan.
Trained under Professor Hao Chunyi, he advocates the philosophy of "mind guiding hands, integrating concepts with techniques," emphasizing a holistic view of tumors and focusing on precise stratification and individualized treatment for patients. Based on specific conditions and indications, he is skilled in open surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and robot-assisted surgery. His expertise includes surgical and comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant retroperitoneal tumors (e.g., liposarcoma, leiomyosarcoma, desmoid fibromatosis, solitary fibrous tumor, pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma), benign and malignant pancreatic tumors (e.g., pancreatic cancer, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, solid pseudopapillary tumors, IPMN), primary liver cancer and metastatic liver cancer (e.g., colorectal cancer liver metastases, GIST liver metastases, neuroendocrine tumor liver metastases), management of obstructive jaundice, surgical and comprehensive treatment of intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct cancer, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and gallbladder cancer, as well as surgical and comprehensive treatment of duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumors.
He currently serves as a member of the International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA), a member of the Youth Committee of the IHPBA China Chapter, a member of the Pancreatic Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the Youth Expert Working Group of the Liver Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, a member of the Chinese Liver Cancer Young Researchers Collaborative Group (CLEAP), a member of the Soft Tissue Oncology Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, a member of the Pelvic Tumor Integration Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and a training instructor for the Basic Surgical Skills Improvement Project of the Hospital Management Research Institute of the National Health Commission.
He has been honored as an Outstanding Talent by the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and as a Clinical Scientist by Peking University. He has published over 10 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author and has led multiple provincial and municipal-level projects and clinical studies as the principal investigator. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of "Encyclopedia of Tumor Science Popularization—Pancreatic Cancer" and "Encyclopedia of Tumor Science Popularization—Retroperitoneal Tumors," and a translator/editor of several monographs, including "Makuuchi's Hepatobiliary Surgery," "Surgical Records of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery," "Basics of Intraoperative Ultrasound in Liver Surgery," and "Practical Guide to Intraoperative Fluorescence Imaging: From Laboratory to Operating Room." He serves as an invited reviewer for journals such as World Journal of Surgical Oncology, Frontiers in Oncology, Frontiers in Surgery, Scientific Reports, and Bioscience Trends, as a corresponding editorial board member of "Electronic Journal of Liver Cancer," a youth editorial board member of "Chinese Journal of Hepatic Surgery," and a review expert for CNKI.
