Director and Chief Physician of the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery I, Peking University Cancer Hospital; Professor; Doctoral Supervisor; and a nationally renowned expert in hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumor surgery. With over 10,000 cases of hepatectomy experience, he is capable of performing various high-difficulty resections for liver cancer, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and pancreatic cancer. He has made pioneering contributions to the comprehensive and surgical treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastases, primary liver cancer, and biliary and pancreatic tumors, boasting extensive expertise and achievements, particularly in the field of colorectal cancer liver metastasis treatment. He has actively promoted individualized and standardized treatment for hepatobiliary and pancreatic tumors in China, spearheading and leading numerous basic translational research and prospective clinical studies. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 200 SCI papers, with results widely recognized by domestic and international peers. As the principal investigator, he has led major projects such as the National Key Basic Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and has obtained multiple national invention patents. He currently holds key positions, including Member of the Liver Surgery Group of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Chair of the Liver Metastasis Group of the Colorectal Cancer Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chair of the Liver Metastasis Group of the Colorectal Cancer Professional Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Vice Chair of the Liver Surgery Branch of the Chinese International Exchange and Promotion Association for Medical and Healthcare, Vice Chair of the Tumor Surgery Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, and Chair of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Tumor Professional Committee of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association.
