Current positions: Director of the Editorial Office of the CJCR Journal, Chair of the Colorectal Disease Committee of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care, Vice Chair of the Integrated Rehabilitation Committee for Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and Chair of the Gastric Cancer Committee of the Beijing Anti-Cancer Association. Primarily engaged in surgical and related research on gastrointestinal tumors. Specializes in function-preserving surgery for early gastric cancer, sphincter-preserving surgery for low rectal cancer, and minimally invasive radical surgery for gastrointestinal tumors. Pursues minimally invasive and precise surgical techniques, with a focus on protecting neurological function and improving patients' quality of life.
Main research directions: Surgical and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, patterns of lymph node metastasis in early gastric cancer and function-preserving gastric cancer surgery, and immune microenvironment mapping of gastrointestinal tumors. As a project leader/principal investigator, has led/participated in multiple national-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program, the National Key Research and Development Program, and the NSFC Major Research Plan.
As corresponding/co-corresponding author, has guided students in publishing multiple academic papers in top-tier journals such as *Cell*, *Science*, *Science Bulletin*, *Nature Communications*, and *Genome Biology*. As the first completer, received the Peking University Health Science Center Teaching Management Excellence Award and the Peking University Cancer Hospital Outstanding Teaching Team Award. As a key participant, received the First Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award (Medical Science and Technology) and the First Prize of the 2025 Beijing Science and Technology Award (Natural Science).
