He obtained his bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine from Peking University Health Science Center and his doctoral degree from Peking University Clinical Oncology College (Peking University Cancer Hospital). He served as a visiting scholar at Severance Hospital of Yonsei University in South Korea and at Santa Maria Hospital in Italy. His research primarily focuses on the surgical treatment and perioperative management of gastrointestinal malignancies. He has long been engaged in the surgical treatment of gastrointestinal tumors and has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery. He specializes in perioperative treatment (chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy), as well as the surgical and comprehensive treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumors and neuroendocrine tumors.
