Introduction: With 37 years of experience in the medical, teaching, and research fields of otorhinolaryngology, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ear diseases. I have profound expertise and extensive experience in conditions such as otitis media, ear tumors, congenital ear deformities, inner ear diseases, facial nerve disorders, tinnitus, hearing loss, and vertigo. Medical Career: An expert in otology and otomicrosurgery, I have dedicated 37 years to the medical, teaching, and research work in otorhinolaryngology. Research: I have supervised nearly 30 doctoral and master's degree students. I have led multiple national and provincial research projects. As the first or corresponding author, I have published over 120 papers in domestic and international journals. I have contributed to the writing or translation of more than 10 monographs, including *Practical Otorhinolaryngology*, *Practical Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery*, *Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery*, and *Otologic Surgery*. Academic Appointments: I currently serve as a member of the Audiology Group of the Chinese Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Society, a standing committee member of the Otorhinolaryngology Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, an honorary chair of the Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Branch of the Guangdong Rehabilitation Association, and a vice chair of the Otorhinolaryngology Medical Engineering Professional Committee of the Guangdong Biomedical Engineering Society.
