Introduction: With over 30 years of experience in the medical, teaching, and research fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery, I have primarily focused on basic research and clinical treatment of oral and head and neck tumors. I possess extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing complex diseases of the oral and maxillofacial region. Research: I have led 11 key provincial research projects, including key breakthrough projects, science and technology plans, and natural science foundation projects in Guangdong Province, and participated in 1 National Natural Science Foundation project. As the first author and corresponding author, I have published over 90 papers, including 10 indexed in SCI. As the first awardee, I have received one third-class prize for scientific and technological progress from Guangdong Province and one from the military. I have supervised 2 doctoral students and 17 master's students. Academic Appointments: I serve as a council member of the Guangdong Stomatological Association, a member of the Academic Degree Committee of Stomatology at Southern Medical University, a standing committee member of the Guangdong Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Committee, an executive council member of the Guangdong Stomatological Physicians Association, and a member of the Head and Neck Committee of the Guangdong Anti-Cancer Association. I am also a specially invited editorial board member of the Journal of Southern Medical University and the Journal of Oral Disease Prevention and Control, a reviewer for National Natural Science Foundation projects, an evaluation expert for natural science foundation projects and scientific and technological achievements in Guangdong and other provinces, a senior title evaluation expert for the Guangdong Provincial Cultural, Educational, and Health System, and a member of the expert database for medical injury identification in Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City.
