Medical Career: Graduated from the Department of Clinical Medicine at the First Military Medical University in 1986, obtained a Master's degree in Neurology from the First Military Medical University in 1989, and a Doctorate in Engineering (Communication and Electronic Systems) from South China University of Technology in 1996. Conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and engaged in cognitive neuroscience research at the University of California (Davis and Irvine). Received the Beijing Outstanding Young Scientific and Technological Paper Award in 2000. Research Profile: Since 1988, has been researching event-related brain potentials/electroencephalography (EEG); proposed parametric modeling and interpolation methods for brain models; achieved fuzzy segmentation of EEG spatiotemporal patterns, statistical parametric imaging, and visualization of brain oscillatory networks. Has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project funded by the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. Published over 40 papers/monographs as first (or corresponding) author (including 4 SCI-indexed journal papers); contributed to the compilation of "Fundamentals of Cognitive Neuroscience" (People's Education Press, 2008). Serves as a reviewer for international SCI journals including "Journal of Cognitive Neuroscience," "Brain Research," and "Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine." Supervisor for graduate students.
