Medical Career: Graduated from the First Military Medical University in 1985. Admitted to Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences for a combined master's and doctoral program in 1988, and obtained a doctorate in Microplastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1993. Studied in Japan for one year in 2003. Research Achievements: Published 72 papers, with 34 as the first author. Served as editor-in-chief or deputy editor-in-chief of 2 monographs, and co-authored 4 monographs. As the first author, received one Third Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and one Third Prize of Military Medical Achievement Award. Participated in winning one Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and two Second Prizes of Military Science and Technology Progress Awards. Undertook one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, one project under the Guangdong Provincial Key Science and Technology Program, one project under the Guangzhou Municipal Key Science and Technology Program, and two projects funded by the Dean's Fund. Began supervising graduate students in 1999, appointed as a doctoral supervisor in 2006, and has trained a total of 18 master's and doctoral students to date. Academic Appointments: Currently serves as Vice President of the Provincial Association of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgeons, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Society of Microsurgery, Standing Committee Member of the Provincial Laser Society, Member of the Japan Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery and the Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery.
