**Introduction:** Professor, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. I have been engaged in the field of traumatic orthopedics for 38 years, serving as a Professor and Chief Physician since August 2004 for 17 years. My current work primarily focuses on the basic research and clinical management of the most challenging injuries in traumatic orthopedics: severe pelvic and acetabular trauma. I hold a high reputation in the field of pelvic and acetabular injuries in China and am recognized as one of the most renowned national experts in this area. Additionally, I serve as the Director of the hospital's first clinical sub-specialty for injuries around the hip joint. **Medical Career:** I graduated from the Department of Medicine of the Fourth Military Medical University in 1983 and remained at the university to work at the Orthopedic Institute of Xijing Hospital (a PLA institute), under the mentorship of the renowned Chinese orthopedic expert, Professor Yupu Lu. I successively held positions as Orthopedic Physician, Teaching Assistant, Attending Physician, and Lecturer at Xijing Hospital. In July 1994, I was transferred to the Department of Orthopedics at Nanfang Hospital of the First Military Medical University, serving as Lecturer and Attending Physician. In December of the same year, I was promoted to Associate Professor and Associate Chief Physician, and in August 2004, I was promoted to Professor and Chief Physician. I am a highly esteemed orthopedic expert in the field of traumatic orthopedics in China, enjoying significant national recognition. I have participated in numerous professional training programs and have obtained advanced training certificates in internal fixation and joint arthroplasty from the AO Foundation (AO) and the Asian Association for Dynamic Osteosynthesis (AADO). In 1999, I was awarded a personal Third-Class Merit. I have also received the titles of Advanced Individual and Outstanding Communist Party Member from the university and affiliated hospitals eight times. **Academic Appointments:** I also hold several academic positions, including Standing Committee Member of the Chinese Medical Association's Traumatology Branch and Vice Chair of its Bone and Joint Injury Group; Standing Committee Member of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Traumatic Orthopedics Committee and Vice Chair of its Pelvic Trauma Committee; Consultant to the Trauma Group of the Chinese Orthopedic Association (Chinese Medical Association); Vice Chair of the Traumatic Orthopedics Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the *Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma*; and Editorial Board Member of the *Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics*, *Chinese Journal of Trauma*, and *Chinese Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery*.
