**Introduction:** Since 1985, I have been engaged in rheumatology work. In 2005, I graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a Doctor of Medicine degree, dedicated to clinical and basic research in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine for rheumatic diseases. I have successively served as Deputy Director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University. Currently, I am the first Director of the Rheumatology (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Diagnosis and Treatment Center at Nanfang Hospital, Deputy Director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Nanfang Hospital, and Deputy Director of the Internal Medicine Teaching and Research Office of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southern Medical University. I am the academic leader of the key discipline/specialty of rheumatology under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the person in charge of the Regional Traditional Chinese Medicine (Rheumatology) Diagnosis and Treatment Center under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one of the first batch of ten leading talents in traditional Chinese medicine in Guangdong Province, and a renowned traditional Chinese medicine doctor in Guangdong Province. The "Guling Pill," researched and developed for the treatment of osteoporosis, has won the Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award, the Third Prize of Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and one invention patent. Its derivative health products, "Dongfang Yaolin Brand Zhongyuan Tablets (for Men)" and "Dongfang Yaolin Brand Xinyue Tablets (for Women)," have been approved for market sale by the State Food and Drug Administration (Approval Numbers: Guoshijianzi G20130257, Guoshijianzi G20130529). As the academic leader of the rheumatology specialty, I have led over 30 large-scale clinical studies on the treatment of refractory connective tissue diseases with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, participated in numerous drug clinical trials and disease epidemiological surveys, and presided over and completed clinical and basic research on the treatment of osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, etc., with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine on the platform of multiple basic research projects. The relevant research has been published in the form of treatises and scientific and technological progress awards. I have won 5 national and provincial/ministerial science and technology awards/science and technology progress awards, obtained 1 authorized invention patent, and edited/co-edited 27 monographs. The team developed the anti-osteoporosis drug "Guling Pill," and its derivative health products, "Dongfang Yaolin Brand Zhongyuan Tablets (for Men)" and "Dongfang Yaolin Brand Xinyue Tablets (for Women)," have been approved for market sale by the State Food and Drug Administration. **Research Activities:** I have successively presided over more than 30 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (8 projects), the Postdoctoral Fund of the Ministry of Education, and provincial natural science/science and technology plans, with cumulative funding exceeding ten million yuan. As the first author/corresponding author, I have published over 100 professional papers (25 SCI papers). As the first completer, I have won the First Prize of Science and Technology of the China Association of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, the Second Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Third Prize of Military Science and Technology Progress Award, and one invention patent. I have edited/co-edited 27 monographs and trained nearly 70 master's/doctoral students (including doctoral students from Hong Kong) and 10 traditional Chinese medicine inheritance disciples. **Academic Appointments:** I serve as the academic leader of the key discipline (Traditional Chinese Medicine Bi Disease) under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the academic leader of the key specialty (Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Rheumatology) under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the person in charge of the Regional Traditional Chinese Medicine (Rheumatology Specialty) Diagnosis and Treatment Center Construction Project under the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the leader of the Guangdong Provincial Key Specialty Technical Cooperation Group for Traditional Chinese Medicine Rheumatology.
