Deputy Director of the Department, Professor, Deputy Chief Physician, Doctor of Medicine, with overseas experience in the United States, having conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Public Health, Tulane University. Primarily engaged in research on the pathogenesis and intervention strategies of metabolic diseases. Recipient of the AHA Scott Grundy Outstanding Research Award in Metabolism and the Young Investigator Award from the American Heart Association Prevention Council. Research achievements were selected among the top 10% of outstanding annual research by the American Heart Association in 2015, the Outstanding Research Achievements in Endocrinology in China in 2016, and the "Top Ten Research Studies" in Diabetes in China in 2016. Member of the American Heart Association (AHA) and the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). Serves as a reviewer for *JAMA Internal Medicine*, *Journal of Diabetes*, and *Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology*. Published 51 SCI papers, including 14 as first author or corresponding author, with a cumulative impact factor of approximately 251.0 and 460 citations. Principal investigator of two National Natural Science Foundation projects. Awarded the Third Prize of the Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and the First Prize of the Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Award as the first completer, and received the Xiamen Outstanding Talent Award for Scientific and Technological Innovation.
