Medical Career: After graduating from the First Military Medical University in 1989, I remained at Southern Hospital to work in the Department of Nephrology until the present. I obtained my Doctor of Medicine degree in 2000. I have successively held positions as a physician, teaching assistant, attending physician, lecturer, associate professor, and deputy chief physician in the Department of Nephrology at Southern Hospital. I have published over 40 academic papers, including 11 papers in journals indexed in SCI. As the principal investigator, I have led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program) and three provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects. I have received two second-class National Science and Technology Achievement Awards, one first-class Chinese Medical Science and Technology Achievement Award, and one first-class Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Award. I have also been granted two national invention patents. Research Overview: I have presided over two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and two projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. I have received two second-class National Science and Technology Progress Awards, one first-class Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and one first-class Chinese Medical Science and Technology Progress Award.
