**Medical Career:** In 2011, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Southern Medical University. From 2014 to 2015, she was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council as a visiting scholar at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in the United States. **Research Activities:** She has conducted in-depth research on respiratory critical illness and acute respiratory failure, applying the research findings to clinical practice with favorable outcomes. Her research focuses on establishing gene knockout mouse models to study the pathogenesis of respiratory failure and lung cancer, as well as utilizing airway stem cells for the treatment of acute respiratory failure. She has undertaken 12 projects at the national, provincial, and municipal levels, including serving as Principal Investigator for 2 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and participating in 1 National Key Research and Development Program. She has secured over 2 million RMB in research funding, obtained 1 national invention patent, and 3 utility model patents. In the past five years, she has published over 10 SCI articles in internationally renowned journals such as *JAAD* and *Respir Res*. In January 2020, as a member of the first medical team from Guangdong Province dispatched to Wuhan, Hubei, to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked in the isolation ward of Wuhan Hankou Hospital for 57 days, successfully completing the anti-pandemic mission. She currently leads her research team in exploring the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and screening for therapeutic drugs. **Academic Appointments:** She currently serves as a member of the Critical Care Working Group of the Respiratory Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and as the Deputy Head of the Critical Care Subgroup of the Respiratory Specialized Committee of the Guangdong Preventive Medicine Association. She is also a key editorial board member of the *Chinese Expert Consensus on Nutritional Support Therapy for Patients with Respiratory Critical Illness*.
