Led and participated in 3 National Natural Science Foundation projects, led 1 Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and 1 Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan project. Currently serves as a member of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Collaboration Group of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology, member of the First Committee of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, member of the Neuroendocrine Group of the Eleventh Committee of the Gastroenterology Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, member of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Professional Committee of the Guangdong Liver Disease Society, and member of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Professional Committee of the Gastroenterology Management Branch of the Guangdong Medical Industry Association.
