Ma Xiquan, Associate Chief Physician Mainly engaged in clinical practice and research in the fields of child and adolescent psychopathology and mental health, including the diagnosis and evaluation of neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, interpersonal communication, specific learning disorders), sleep disorders, emotional problems (bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder), psychotic disorders, and psychosomatic behavioral issues (suicide and self-harm, eating disorders, gender identity and sexual orientation) in children and adolescents. He provides individualized psychopharmacological interventions, including individual psychotherapy and relationship-oriented treatment. Main research directions: Assessment and treatment of ADHD, interpersonal communication, specific learning disorders, sleep disorders, and related behavioral and emotional problems. Currently serves as a member of the Shanghai Behavioral Medicine Branch, a member of the Eating Disorders Group of the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Sleep Disorders Group of the Psychosomatic Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the Psychiatrist Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed papers as first or corresponding author, including more than 10 SCI-indexed papers.
