Liang Yun, Associate Chief Physician Specialties: Cleft lip and palate, oral and maxillofacial trauma, extraction of wisdom teeth and supernumerary teeth, labial and lingual frenulum correction, oral and maxillofacial deformities, oral and maxillofacial tumors, oral and maxillofacial infections, dental implants, etc. With 20 years of clinical experience, he is primarily engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of various common diseases in oral and maxillofacial surgery, including deformities, trauma, tumors, infections, tooth extractions, and other routine conditions. He is particularly skilled in comprehensive sequential treatment of cleft lip and palate, oral and maxillofacial trauma, extraction of impacted supernumerary teeth and wisdom teeth, labial and lingual frenulum correction, and dental implant restoration. He currently serves as a specialized member of the Chinese Stomatological Association in the fields of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Cleft Lip and Palate, Oral and Maxillofacial Trauma, and Orthognathic Surgery; a member of the Maxillofacial Repair and Dental Regeneration Group under the Tissue Repair and Regeneration Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; a member of the Surgical Group of the Smile Tomorrow Charity Foundation; and an instructor for Dentsply Sirona Implants and Osstem Implants. He has successively led two research projects funded by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Foundation and the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Foundation. He has published 13 papers as first author or corresponding author, of which 4 are included in SCI. Main research directions: Treatment of secondary nasal deformities after unilateral cleft lip or cleft lip and palate surgery; establishment of high-throughput diagnostic methods for severe congenital cleft lip and palate; and treatment modalities for secondary microstomia after unilateral cleft lip surgery.
