Wan Pengjie, Associate Chief Physician Specializes in early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of acne (pimples) in children and adolescents, as well as the restoration and reconstruction of acne pits, acne marks, and acne scars; diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases such as refractory eczema/atopic dermatitis; various laser treatments for birthmarks including nevus of Ota, café-au-lait spots, port-wine stains, hemangiomas, spider nevi, freckles, and acquired bilateral nevus of Ota-like macules; and diagnosis and treatment of other pediatric skin conditions including urticaria, psoriasis, vasculitis, tinea manuum and pedis, diaper rash, alopecia, Henoch-Schönlein purpura, various viral warts, pigmentation disorders, and photosensitive skin diseases. Currently serves as a member of the Atopic Dermatitis and Acne Group of the Dermatology Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. Visiting scholar at Cardiff University, UK, and visiting physician at St Woolos Hospital and Royal Gwent Hospital in the UK. Has led four national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund). Has published over 20 papers as first author or corresponding author in SCI-indexed and Chinese core journals. Has long been engaged in clinical and research work on pediatric skin diseases.
