Yao Ruen, Associate Chief Technologist Main research directions: Clinical application of molecular diagnostic techniques for genetic diseases, development and application of high-throughput sequencing technologies, consultation on prenatal diagnostic genetic test results, identification of novel pathogenic genes for rare diseases and investigation of their pathogenesis, genetic diagnosis and mechanistic studies of neurodevelopmental disorders, etc. Currently serves as a member of the Pudong New Area Youth Federation in Shanghai, standing committee member of the Fetal Medicine Professional Committee of the Hainan Genetics Society, member of the Prenatal Diagnosis and Eugenics Committee of the Hainan Preventive Medicine Association, and member of the Precision Medicine Branch of the National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management. Has published over 80 papers as first author or corresponding author, including 30 SCI-indexed articles. Has led and participated in multiple national and provincial-level research projects, and was selected for the Shanghai "Medical New Star" talent program. Overseas training: Previously trained at Boston Children's Hospital, and participated in a joint doctoral training program between Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Harvard University.
