Zhang Mazhong, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Academic Leader in Anesthesiology
With over 30 years of experience in clinical anesthesia. He studied organ transplant anesthesia, pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling, and developmental pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC). He has received the Third Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Third Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Progress Award, and the Third Prize of Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award.
Currently serves as Honorary Chair of the Pediatric Anesthesia Branch of the Chinese Society of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology, Standing Committee Member of the Anesthesia Professional Committee of the National Cardiovascular Expert Committee, Standing Committee Member of the Anesthesia Pharmacology Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, Vice Chair of the Pediatric Anesthesia Special Training Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Vice Chair of the Quality Control Committee of the Guizhou Hospital Association, and Vice Chair of the Anesthesiology Branch of the Guizhou Medical Association. He is also a Standing Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology, Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology, and Shanghai Medical Journal, and Assistant Editor of Paediatric Anaesthesia.
Main research directions: Developmental anesthesia pharmacology, development and pain.
