Wang Xiumin, Female, Ph.D., Doctoral Supervisor, Chief Physician of the Department of Endocrinology, Genetics, and Metabolism. Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Deputy Director of the Department of Medical Genetics, Shanghai Children's Medical Center, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric endocrine and genetic metabolic diseases, including childhood short stature syndromes, obesity-related syndromes, and special types of diabetes. Has led and participated in multiple research projects, including the National Key Technology R&D Program of the 11th Five-Year Plan and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Has published over 130 papers, with more than 40 included in SCI. Currently serves as Deputy Head of the Endocrinology Group of the Pediatric Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, Member of the Adolescent Medicine Committee of the Pediatric Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, Member of the Endocrinology, Genetics, and Metabolism Group of the Pediatric Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of the Endocrinology Group of the Adolescent Medicine Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and Standing Committee Member of the Child Disease and Healthcare Branch of the China Maternal and Child Health Association. Main research directions: Diagnosis and treatment of pediatric endocrine and genetic metabolic diseases, including childhood short stature syndromes, obesity-related syndromes, and special types of diabetes.
