Chen Tongxin, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Head of the Allergy and Immunology Innovation Team, Researcher at the Institute of Pediatric Medical Translation, Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology/Immunology. His primary focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric primary immunodeficiency diseases and allergic diseases. He has diagnosed and treated over 1,000 cases of primary immunodeficiency diseases, including immunoglobulin deficiencies, cellular immune deficiencies, combined immunodeficiencies, thymic hypoplasia, chronic granulomatous disease, and hyper-IgM (IgE) syndrome. He has participated in the development of international guidelines for cow's milk protein allergy. His expertise in allergic diseases includes food allergies, allergic rhinitis, allergic asthma, and skin allergies. He currently serves as President of the Shanghai Society for Immunology, Executive Council Member of the Chinese Society for Immunology, and Vice Chairman of the Chinese Society for Clinical Immunology. He is also Vice Chairman of the Translational Medicine Committee of the Chinese Pediatric Society, Consultant of the Vaccination Committee, Consultant of the Rheumatology Group, Standing Committee Member of the Pediatric Diseases and Healthcare Branch of the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association, and Head of the Rheumatologic and Immunologic Diseases and Healthcare Group. Additionally, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Perinatal Infection and Immunology Group of the Chinese Society of Perinatal Medicine, Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Rheumatology Group of the Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Member of the Rheumatology and Immunology Professional Committee of the Cross-Strait Medical and Health Exchange Association, and Vice Chairman of the Pediatric Group. He is a first- and second-round reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, an expert for medical malpractice technical appraisal of the Chinese Medical Association, an expert for the Expert Steering Committee on Adverse Events Following Immunization, and a review consultant for the registration of special medical purpose formulas and a member of the Expert Committee of the Medical Device Technical Evaluation Center of the National Medical Products Administration.
