M.D., graduated from the Department of Clinical Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Mie University, Japan. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring neonatal diseases, neonatal feeding guidance, nutritional management of preterm infants, allergic diseases, neonatal arrhythmias, and vertically transmitted diseases. Primary research interests include neonatal innate immunity, post-infection immune function changes, preterm birth and miscarriage, mechanisms related to intrauterine growth restriction, and neonatal jaundice.
