Ning Botao, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Doctor of Medicine, Deputy Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Primarily engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric internal medicine diseases, especially critical pediatric conditions, with an annual outpatient volume exceeding 5,500 cases. He specializes in various pediatric internal medicine diseases, particularly possessing extensive clinical experience in the management of acute and critical conditions such as severe sepsis and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. He has published 65 papers as first author or corresponding author (including 37 SCI papers). He was awarded the 2016 Shanghai Outstanding Young Medical Talent Program and the 2015 Zhejiang Province New Century 151 Third-Level Talent Program. He has led 9 national and provincial/ministerial research projects (including 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects). He holds 1 national invention patent (Patent No.: ZL 2017 1 0628310.1). As the lead unit contact, he completed a national multi-center (63 institutions) clinical study. Additionally, he has participated as a major contributor in 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and 4 provincial/ministerial research projects.
