Shen Jie, Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor, Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine Mainly engaged in non-surgical interventional treatment of congenital heart disease in children, standardized diagnosis and treatment of Kawasaki disease and coronary artery lesions, as well as the management of cardiovascular diseases such as arrhythmia, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, and pulmonary hypertension. Brief Introduction: Admitted to the former Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 1997, under the mentorship of renowned pediatric cardiologist Professor Zhou Aiqing. Obtained a doctorate in Pediatrics (Pediatric Cardiovascular Disease) in 2000, and was promoted to Chief Physician in December 2010. Major academic affiliations include: Deputy Head of the Neonatal Heart Disease Group, Cardiovascular Professional Committee, Pediatrics Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Pediatric Rhythmology Group, Electrophysiology and Pacing Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Cardiovascular Professional Committee, Pediatrics Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Pediatric Professional Committee, Integrated Medicine Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Member of the Shanghai Pediatric Cardiovascular Group; Pediatric Heart Disease Expert for the Medical Aid Project of the Shanghai Red Cross; and Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Clinical Pediatrics. In 2002, pursued postdoctoral work at the University of Florida College of Medicine, USA, focusing on the regulatory mechanisms of cell signal transduction. In 2006, was selected for the "Bump" Scholar Program in the USA, working on clinical genetics of congenital heart disease at the Heart Center and Molecular Cardiovascular Disease Center of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Current research directions include: clinical and basic research on coronary artery lesions in Kawasaki disease; and clinical genetics of cardiovascular diseases. Scientific Research Achievements: Has led multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the "Bump" Scholar Program in the USA. Published over 50 papers in domestic and international professional academic journals. Contributed to the editing of 6 academic monographs.
