Zhu Limin, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery ICU, Associate Chief Physician With over 20 years of clinical experience in perioperative intensive care for pediatric congenital heart disease, she specializes in the early diagnosis and management of various postoperative complications, including perioperative mechanical ventilation and respiratory management techniques, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. Since 2007, she has served as the head of the "Respiratory Therapy Group" in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of Shanghai Children's Medical Center, focusing on mechanical ventilation management and clinical research in critically ill children, with a dedication to the perioperative diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up of airway stenosis, as well as the long-term follow-up of pulmonary hypertension after congenital heart disease surgery. Current positions: Adjunct Professor and CBL Course Instructor at the Ottawa-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Medical School; Executive Deputy Director of the CICU Collaborative Group, Cardiothoracic Surgery Subcommittee, Pediatric Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Respiratory Critical Care and Mechanical Ventilation Committee, Pediatric Critical Care Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Evaluation Expert for "Pediatric Respiratory Endoscopy Qualification" of the Shanghai Medical Association. Overseas training: Previously trained at Schneider Children's Medical Center in Israel, focusing on pediatric bronchoscopy techniques and pediatric respiratory therapy. Main research directions: Study of the interaction between mechanical ventilation and cardiopulmonary function after pediatric congenital heart disease surgery, basic research on pulmonary circulation physiology, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. In recent years, she has conducted clinical and fluid dynamics research on pediatric airway malformations, as well as studies on the impact of air pollution on the pediatric respiratory system. As a key member, she has received the Third Prize of the Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, the Second Prize of the Maternal and Child Health Science and Technology Achievement Award, and the First Prize of the Pudong New Area Science and Technology Progress Award. As the principal investigator, she has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund) and one guided project by the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. She has published over 30 papers as the first author or corresponding author, including 6 SCI-indexed and 3 EI-indexed papers.
