Yin Meng, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor Mainly engaged in the surgical treatment of pediatric congenital heart disease, having performed over 2,000 cases of complex congenital heart disease surgeries in infants and young children as the primary surgeon, with extensive clinical surgical experience. He has profound expertise in pulmonary valve reconstruction techniques during radical correction of Tetralogy of Fallot and the clinical application of artificial valved conduits in right ventricular outflow tract reconstruction surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery and hybrid cardiac procedures. Academic and Social Appointments: Currently serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a Youth Committee Member of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials, a Committee Member of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Branch of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, a Committee Member of the Medical Device Management Professional Committee of the China Medical Education Association, an Editorial Board Member of the *International Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases* (a core Chinese scientific and technological journal), and a Peer Reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Overseas Training: Previously dispatched as a visiting scholar by the former Ministry of Health to the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center of Japan for a two-year exchange and study program. During this period, he learned new diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for pediatric congenital heart disease, techniques for fabricating valved artificial conduits, and valve molding techniques. Main Research Directions: Surgical treatment and clinical research of congenital heart disease; research on small-diameter artificial blood vessels and valved artificial conduits; development of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgical instruments; research on biomaterials; and studies in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
