Song Nan, male, member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Tongji University School of Medicine, holds a Doctor of Medicine degree in Thoracic Surgery, serves as Deputy Chief Physician in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, and is a member of the Chinese Association of Thoracic Surgeons. He has received honors including the Shanghai Health and Family Planning System Youth May Fourth Medal, Shanghai Shenkang Hospital Authority System Outstanding Youth Post Expert, second place in the Thoracic Surgery Young Physician Surgical Technique Competition (Shanghai Division, Endoscopic Lobectomy Group), Outstanding Party Member of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Outstanding Physician of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Special Award for Poverty Alleviation (Commendation), and Outstanding Charity Volunteer of Shanghai Charity Foundation. He has published 12 academic papers, including 6 indexed in SCI and 5 in the Chinese Medical Association journal series. He holds one invention patent and one utility model patent. He served as deputy editor-in-chief of the English professional book *Thymus Surgery* (ISBN 978-988-74593-3-0).
