Qin Xiong, M.D., Ph.D., Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor. He graduated from the Clinical Medicine Department of Shanghai Medical University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree, and obtained a Ph.D. in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery from the Second Military Medical University in 2002. From 2012 to 2013, he was a visiting scholar in minimally invasive thoracic surgery at OHSU in the United States and received specialized training in FLS laparoscopic skills. He served as the first committee member of the Thoracic Surgery Professional Committee of the Shanghai Medical Association, a member of the Thoracic Tumor Professional Committee of the Shanghai Anti-Cancer Association, and a member of the Minimally Invasive and Non-Invasive Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association. He is also an evaluation expert for the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education of China, an executive editorial board member of the *Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research and Clinical Practice*, and a reviewer for multiple journals including the *Journal of the Second Military Medical University* and *Chinese Journal of Clinical Medicine*. With over 20 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgery, he has accumulated extensive expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer, cardia cancer, bronchial lung cancer, mediastinal tumors, and chest trauma. He is particularly skilled in the diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of small pulmonary nodules and is dedicated to exploring the early diagnosis of lung cancer and multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment based on thoracoscopic surgery. He has successively applied for multiple research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. He has received one First Prize for Military Medical Achievements, one Third Prize for Military Scientific and Technological Progress, one Third Prize for Shanghai Medical Science and Technology, and one Third Prize for Shanghai Science and Technology. He has published over 40 academic papers, including 8 indexed in SCI, with a single highest impact factor of 7.356. He has contributed to 8 monographs as a co-author, served as the primary translator for 1 monograph, and holds 4 authorized invention patents.
