Chen Qiankun, male, Doctor of Surgery (Ph.D.), Associate Chief Physician, Master's Supervisor, Department of Thoracic Surgery, Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital. In 2001, he graduated from the 7-year clinical medicine program at Shanghai Medical University (School of Medicine, Fudan University), earning a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. From 2006 to 2007, he was funded by the Ministry of Health's Sasakawa Medical Scholarship to conduct lung transplantation research at the Department of Thoracic Tumor Surgery, Okayama University School of Medicine, Japan. In 2009, he trained at the Department of Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplant Center, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine, USA. In 2014, he obtained his Doctor of Surgery degree from Tongji University School of Medicine, under the mentorship of Professor Jiang Gening.
