He Wenxin, Doctor of Surgery, Chief Physician of the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, Associate Professor of Surgery at Tongji University, Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Co-supervisor. Currently serves as a member of the Lung Transplantation Group of the Organ Transplantation Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Organ Transplantation, member of the Organ Transplantation Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association, youth committee member of the Organ Transplantation Branch of the Shanghai Medical Association, and youth committee member of the Thoracic Surgery Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care. With over 20 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgery, he specializes in the treatment of early-stage, intermediate-stage, and operable locally advanced lung malignancies, as well as benign lung diseases and various mediastinal diseases, using uniportal video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) and open surgical techniques. He is skilled in the early diagnosis of lung cancer, the management of ground-glass nodules (GGOs) and other pulmonary nodules, lung transplantation for end-stage lung diseases, and surgical treatment of airway diseases such as tracheal tumors and stenosis. From June 2011 to June 2012, he was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts General Hospital, studying thoracic oncology surgical techniques and tracheal surgical techniques. He has long been engaged in clinical and basic research on lung transplantation. He has led six research projects, including the General Program and Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as projects funded by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. His research on surgical treatment for end-stage lung diseases was awarded the Second Prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award in 2012. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published over 30 academic papers in journals such as *J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg*, *Eur J Cardiothorac Surg*, and *Annals of Surgical Oncology*. He has also contributed as a co-author to several monographs, including *Pulmonary Surgery*, *Diagnostic Decision-Making in Difficult Thoracic Surgical Cases* (2nd and 3rd editions), and *Textbook of Thoracic Surgery*.
