He has long been engaged in research and clinical application of tissue-engineered trachea, clinical and basic research on lung transplantation and lung repair, optimization of clinical diagnosis and treatment pathways for early-stage lung cancer, and artificial intelligence and multi-omics-based diagnosis, treatment, and clinical translation of lung cancer. As corresponding author and co-corresponding author, he has published over 170 SCI papers with a cumulative impact factor of 1233.0, including in journals such as *J Clin Oncol* (IF=50.7), *Mol Cancer* (IF=41.4), *Signal Transduct Target Ther* (IF=38.1), *Eur Respir J* (IF=33.7), *Radiology* (IF=29.1), *J Thorac Oncol* (IF=20.1), *Adv Funct Mater* (IF=19.9), *JAMA Surg* (IF=16.6), and *JAMA Netw Open* (IF=13.3). As the first completer, he has received the Second Prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award in 2018, the First Prize of the Shanghai Anti-Cancer Science and Technology Award in 2019, and the Second Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award in 2020. He has led one National Key Research and Development Program project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, one key support project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Major Research Plan, one cultivation project of the Major Research Plan, and two general projects of the NSFC. The team currently has 9 supervisors, 40 doctoral students, and 17 master's students. The team has collectively led 3 NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Fund projects, 9 NSFC general projects, and over 30 provincial and ministerial-level projects.
