**Research Work:**
Has long been dedicated to research on biomechanics, neuromodulation, and neuroplasticity, with a focus on the biomechanics and neuromodulation mechanisms of degenerative spinal diseases. Pioneered brain science research on spinal pain rehabilitation and scoliosis rehabilitation in China, elucidating the neuromuscular control mechanisms of spinal pain in the brain – spinal posture and movement control disorders. Established a precision rehabilitation assessment system based on surface electromyography/musculoskeletal ultrasound and brain neural detection. Developed precision rehabilitation treatments based on musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided active exercise and non-invasive brain neuromodulation technology.
Currently initiating research on digitalized and intelligent posture and movement control rehabilitation. Ongoing projects include research and clinical application of intelligent rehabilitation robot systems integrating patient intention understanding and skill learning, optimization of rehabilitation protocols for post-stroke motor impairment, and digitalized and intelligent screening, assessment, and rehabilitation for scoliosis.
In recent years, has led 17 research grants, including the National Key R&D Program of China, Key Projects of the National Health Commission, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Provincial Civil-Military Integration Special Fund, Guangdong-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Joint Project, and Guangzhou Civil-Military Integration projects, with total funding exceeding 30 million RMB. Published over 120 papers, including more than 60 SCI papers as corresponding author in high-impact journals such as *Eur J Phys Rehabil Med*, *BMC Geriatr*, and *Eur J Pain*. Holds over 20 related patents. Authored/co-authored 6 monographs (editor-in-chief/deputy editor-in-chief) and contributed to many others. As the first completer, received the First Prize of the 2023 Guangdong Medical Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of the 2021 Science and Technology Award of the China Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, and the First Prize of the 2021 Science and Technology Award of the Guangdong Rehabilitation Medicine Association. Successfully completed one technology transfer for Huawei smart glasses, providing a smart wearable tool for early warning and prevention of cervical spondylosis. Led the drafting of clinical guidelines and consensuses such as the "Expert Consensus on Rehabilitation for Cervical Spondylosis" and the "Clinical Practice Guidelines for Rehabilitation of Spinal Cord Injury with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine". The established concepts and models for spinal pain rehabilitation have been promoted and applied in many regions across China, achieving significant benefits. Honored with titles including "Most Beautiful Rehabilitation Science and Technology Worker" by the China Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, "Guangzhou Science Popularization Master", and "Outstanding Science Popularization Expert".
