First-level Chief Physician, Second-level Professor, Distinguished Medical Expert of Sun Yat-sen University, Distinguished Medical Expert of Guangzhou (Yangcheng), Academic Leader and Chief Expert in Cardiac Surgery, Doctoral Supervisor. He completed postdoctoral research and clinical work in cardiothoracic surgery at Tufts University New England Medical Center and Boston University Boston Medical Center in the United States. He also visited Harvard University Boston Children's Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Miami Medical Center for observation and study. After returning to China, he served successively as Director of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Director of the Cardiovascular Medicine Department, Academic Leader, and Chief Expert at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. In 2013, he was recommended by the Guangdong Medical Association as a Distinguished Medical Expert of Guangzhou (Yangcheng), and in 2014, he was elected as one of the first Distinguished Medical Experts of Sun Yat-sen University. He served as the Sixth and Seventh Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Provincial Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, the Second and Third Standing Committee Member of the Cardiovascular Surgeons Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a Member of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and a Standing Committee Member of the Central South Branch of the Chinese Society of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He also serves as an editorial board member for several core journals, including the *Chinese Journal of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery*, *Journal of Modern Cardiovascular Surgery*, *Chinese Journal of Practical Medicine*, *Chinese Journal of Geriatric Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases*, *Lingnan Cardiovascular Journal*, *Journal of Sun Yat-sen University*, and *Journal of Practical Medicine*. He has led over ten national, provincial, and university-level research projects, published more than 100 papers, and directly supervised over 50 graduate students, who have now become key figures in cardiovascular surgery departments across various hospitals nationwide. He has also assisted and guided more than ten hospitals nationwide in establishing and developing cardiothoracic surgery departments.
