**Major Education and Work Experience:** Studied and worked at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and the University of Milan, Italy, for 7 years, earning a PhD from the University of Milan. After returning to China, served as Professor of Cardiology, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, The First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. Currently holds the positions of Director of the Hypertension Center, Director of the Hypertension and Vascular Disease Department, Director of the Third Department of Cardiology, Deputy Director of the Cardiovascular Medicine Department, and Director of the Geriatrics Research Institute. **Social Appointments:** Serves as Vice Chairman of the Hypertension Professional Committee of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Chairman of the Vascular Risk Assessment Working Committee; Chairman of the Expert Committee on Integrative Medicine for Hypertension and Vascular Diseases of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association; Vice President of the Hypertension Branch of the China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care; Vice Chairman of the Hypertension Specialty Medical Alliance of the National Cardiovascular Center and Director of the Guangdong Provincial Center; Vice President of the Hypertension Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies; Chairman of the Southern China Geriatric Medicine Alliance; Chairman of the Cardiovascular Disease Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Association of Integrative Medicine, among other positions. **Publications and Monographs:** Published over 100 SCI papers in international journals such as *Circulation Research*, *Hypertension*, *Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology*, *Cardiovascular Research*, and *Ebiomedicine*. Edited and co-authored more than 10 monographs. **Other Major Achievements (e.g., Awards):** Led national-level projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the "973" Major Basic Research Program. As the first contributor, received the First Prize of the 2017 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award, the Third Prize of the 2017 Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize of the 2013 Ministry of Education Higher Education Outstanding Achievement Award in Natural Sciences.
