Graduated from the Clinical Medicine program of Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in 1994, obtained a doctorate in Neurology in 2004, was promoted to Chief Physician in 2012, and became a Professor in 2017. Previously studied at the Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. Specializes in research on motor neuron diseases, myopathies, and peripheral neuropathies, with extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rare neurological disorders. Dedicated to studying the pathogenesis of motor neuron diseases and screening therapeutic drugs. Currently serves as Deputy Head of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Collaboration Group, Neurology Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Academic Committee and Director of the Sub-Center of the National Standardized Diagnosis and Training Center for Peripheral Neuropathies; Standing Committee Member of the Rare Neurological Diseases Committee, China Rare Disease Alliance; Member of the Neuromuscular Disease Group, Neurology Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Chair of the Neuroscience Committee, Guangdong Health Management Association; Vice Chair of the Rare Disease Branch, Guangdong Medical Association, among other roles. Also serves as an Editorial Board Member for the *Chinese Journal of Neurology* and the *Chinese Journal of General Practice*. Has led national and provincial-level projects, including key national research and development programs, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, and science and technology projects of Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City. Has published over 70 high-level SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author.
