Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the former West China University of Medical Sciences, Ph.D. in Neurology from Sun Yat-sen University, and a visiting scholar and postdoctoral fellow at Michigan State University. Has successively led projects including the American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, the Guangzhou Science and Technology Plan Project, and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Young Scientists Fund and General Program). Published dozens of SCI papers. Serves as a member of the Neuroelectrophysiology and Electromyography Group of the Neurology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, a council member of the Guangdong Brain Science Application Society, a member of the Headache Group of the Neurology Branch of the Guangdong Medical Association, and a vice president of the Stroke Rehabilitation and Prevention Branch of the Guangdong Rehabilitation Medical Association.
