**Education and Professional Experience:** Graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1988, and obtained a master's and doctoral degree from Sun Yat-sen University. From 2001 to 2004, served as a visiting scholar in the Department of Nephrology at Boston Medical Center, Boston University, USA. Has been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in nephrology at the Department of Nephrology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University for over 30 years. **Professional Affiliations:** Currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Nephrology Branch of Guangdong Medical Doctor Association, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the *Chinese Journal of Nephrology*, Vice Chairman of the Nephrology Branch of Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Association, Standing Committee Member of the Renal Pharmacology Professional Committee of the Chinese Pharmacological Society, and Member of the Renal Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. **Major Achievements:** Has led over 20 research projects at various levels, including 8 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and key projects of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation. Has published more than 140 SCI papers in high-impact journals such as *Kidney International*, *Advanced Science*, *Autophagy*, and *Journal of the American Society of Nephrology*. As a key participant and contributor, has received the National Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Class), the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award (First Class), the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Award (First Class), and the Guangdong Medical Science and Technology Award (First Class).
