Subsequently conducted a three-year postdoctoral research at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis (USA), with a primary research focus on the basic and clinical studies of inflammatory bowel disease. Research Achievements: Principal investigator of one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one project under the Young Teacher Cultivation Program of Sun Yat-sen University. Received funding support from the KeLin Rising Star and KeLin Young Talent Programs of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Published several articles as first author or corresponding author in journals such as *Gut* and *Therapeutic Advances in Gastroenterology*.
