Particularly skilled in the prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of polyomavirus infection-related complications in transplant recipients or immunosuppressed populations, as well as the multidisciplinary precise diagnosis and treatment system integrating transplant kidney biopsy pathology, clinical assessment, molecular testing, and imaging. This system was recognized as a Featured Project under the Guangzhou Clinical High-Tech, Major, and Featured Technology Projects. Established a WeChat follow-up platform for kidney transplant recipients with polyomavirus infection, with patients spanning over 30 provinces nationwide.

**Research Profile:**
Awarded a Doctorate in Surgery from Sun Yat-sen University in 2008. Since 2006, has focused on clinical research into the prevention, development of non-invasive diagnostic techniques, and treatment of polyomavirus-related diseases in immunosuppressed populations, as well as basic research into related pathogenesis. Invited to participate in the development of the *International BK Virus Prevention and Treatment Guidelines*, and is the sole participant from Mainland China. Served as Editor-in-Chief of the *Chinese BK Virus Prevention and Treatment Guidelines*. Has led 4 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project by the China Organ Transplantation Development Foundation, 4 projects by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, 1 project under the Guangzhou Clinical Featured Technology Program, and 13 other projects funded by Sun Yat-sen University and other institutions. Research findings have been presented at over 20 national academic conferences and delivered as oral presentations at 14 international academic conferences, including the American Transplant Congress (ATC) in 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2019; the International Transplantation Congress (TTS) in 2024, 2020, and 2016; the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) Congress in 2023, 2019, and 2017; and the Asian Transplant Congress in 2017. Research outcomes have been clinically applied and promoted by dozens of institutions nationwide, with academic achievements widely recognized by peers. To date, has published over 40 papers as first/corresponding author, including 25 SCI-indexed articles, with a single highest citation frequency of 54 times. Contributed to the compilation of 5 monographs.
