**Professional Experience:**
With 35 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, has accumulated extensive expertise in orthopedic trauma, joints, infections, spine, bone diseases, and tumors. Has conducted in-depth research, particularly in the diagnosis and treatment of bone and soft tissue tumors. Specializes in percutaneous biopsy of bone tumors, limb salvage surgery for malignant bone tumors, limb salvage for pediatric bone tumors, complex high-difficulty surgeries such as resection and reconstruction of pelvic and spinal tumors, and adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy for malignant bone tumors. Organizes weekly multidisciplinary discussions on bone tumors to resolve complex and difficult cases, enabling many patients with severe and complex tumors to undergo limb-preserving treatment and achieve long-term survival. Leads multicenter studies on bone tumors in China, standardizing the diagnosis and treatment of bone tumors, and holds a high academic status and influence domestically. Established the Department of Musculoskeletal Oncology at The First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, organized three bone tumor academic groups in Guangdong Province, and continuously innovates surgical techniques to treat critically ill and complex cases. Pioneered the use of expandable prostheses for limb salvage in pediatric patients in China, promoted limb salvage and standardized treatment for osteosarcoma. Led the project "Three-Combined Diagnosis, Limb Salvage Treatment, and Basic Research of Malignant Bone Tumors," which won the First Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award from the Ministry of Education and the Second Prize of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award. Led the project "Innovation and Promotion of Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Technology for Osteosarcoma," which won the First Prize of the Guangdong Precision Medicine Science and Technology Award. Has presided over 22 projects, including general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and key projects of the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. Research focuses on the functional mechanisms of osteosarcoma stem cells and lung metastasis. Has published 78 SCI-indexed papers (59 as first or corresponding author), with a total impact factor of 286.177. Representative works appear in mainstream oncology journals such as *Nature Cell Biology*, *Journal of the National Cancer Institute*, *Journal of Clinical Investigation*, and *Clinical Cancer Research*. Holds a leading position in China in basic and clinical translational research on the pathogenesis and metastasis mechanisms of osteosarcoma. Recognized as one of the first batch of Famous Doctors of Sun Yat-sen University, listed in the China Famous Doctors Top 100, honored as National Famous Doctor (Outstanding Contribution), recipient of the Guangdong Physician Award and the Nanyue Outstanding Teacher Award. The academic骨干 trained under his supervision have received one Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Program from the Ministry of Education, one Key Project for Young Teachers from Sun Yat-sen University, three Cultivation Projects, and two Outstanding Talent Programs from our hospital. Has established strong collaborative relationships with multiple international bone tumor centers, including the Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York, Mayo Clinic, Shands Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute in Italy, University of Toronto Hospital in Canada, the State Key Laboratory of Oncology in South China at Sun Yat-sen University, and various laboratories within the university. Invited by the Chinese Medical Association and the People's Military Medical Press to produce surgical videos of famous doctors (limb salvage surgery for bone tumors). Invited annually to deliver lectures at orthopedic academic conferences across China and within Guangdong Province. Has cultivated a clinical and research team specializing in bone and soft tissue tumors. On January 17, 2016, established the first physician-initiated charitable organization in China: the "Guangdong Runxi Jingnan Anti-Bone Cancer Foundation," dedicated to helping patients from impoverished families overcome difficulties and complete treatment, embodying the spirit of "establishing a heart for heaven and earth."
