After graduation, remained at the university and has been engaged in clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching in the Department of Orthopedics, the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University (formerly Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences). Awarded the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Achievements by the Guangdong Provincial Sports Science Society (for research and application on the mechanisms and prevention/treatment methods of common sports injuries in Guangdong provincial divers).
