Department Details
The Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology was established in 1978 and is one of the earliest basic research departments in the hospital. Its current main research directions include precision tumor immunotherapy and the mechanisms of tumorigenesis. The primary research areas encompass precision cellular immunotherapy for tumors, the development of personalized therapeutic vaccines, and the development and basic application research of anti-tumor drugs. The laboratory currently has 11 full-time staff members (Director: Lu Zheming, Deputy Director: Zhao Chuanke), including 2 research fellows, 4 associate research fellows, 1 assistant research fellow, 1 senior technician, and 3 technicians. Several members of the department hold positions in national-level academic committees. Over the past five years, the department has led multiple national and provincial-level research projects, published nearly 50 research papers in high-impact SCI journals, obtained 8 authorized invention patents, and signed 4 technology transfer agreements with a total contract value of nearly 70 million RMB.
The laboratory currently has an experimental area of nearly 200 square meters, equipped with various routine instruments and equipment for cellular and molecular biology research, capable of accommodating 15 to 20 people conducting research simultaneously. The department also places great emphasis on the comprehensive training of graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, striving to create a favorable scientific research environment and learning and living conditions to help them achieve their respective goals.
We welcome postdoctoral fellows and young researchers dedicated to scientific research to join our team.
