Department Details
Since its establishment in 2003, the clinical laboratory has undergone significant development. Starting from an initial space of less than 100 square meters, it relocated to the Yiyuan Cultural Entrepreneurship Park in June 2019 and has now become a 3,300-square-meter modern scientific research platform. As a key base relying on the Ministry of Education and Beijing Municipal Key Laboratory of "Pathogenesis and Translational Research of Malignant Tumors," the laboratory focuses on the construction, operation, and management of large-scale instrument platforms, providing comprehensive translational medicine research support and technical services to clinical departments.
The laboratory has a dedicated technical team of eight members, including four Ph.D. holders and one master's degree holder. The team not only possesses extensive practical experience in scientific research but also plays a critical role in laboratory management and technical support, while achieving significant accomplishments in academic research. Most team members have published high-quality papers as first authors or corresponding authors in several internationally renowned academic journals, fully demonstrating the team's research capabilities and innovative potential.
After more than two decades of steady development, the laboratory has successfully supported numerous national and provincial-level major research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the 863 Program, and the 973 Program. Currently, the laboratory provides support to over 20 clinical departments, serving the research needs of more than 60 researchers and over 150 graduate students. It has established an important academic position in the field of malignant tumor pathogenesis and translational research, becoming a high-level open platform integrating research services, technical support, and talent cultivation, continuously providing strong support for advancing oncology medical research.
