Since 1992, successively served as Attending Physician, Associate Chief Physician in the ICU, Acting Director of the ICU, and Deputy Director of the Emergency Department at China-Japan Friendship Hospital. Since 2003, served as Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine (ICU) and Chief Physician. In 2015, served as Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). In 2020, served as Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Peking University International Hospital. In 2024, served as Deputy Director of the Emergency and Critical Care Medicine Center. Engaged in critical care medicine (CCM) research and ICU work for many years, accumulating rich professional theoretical, practical, and management experience. Skilled in management, and the ICU teams led have all gained recognition in the field.
Long-term engagement in teaching and research of critical care medicine and clinical ICU work at tertiary hospitals, accumulating rich professional technical and management experience. Specializes in the treatment of ICU patients with shock, heart failure, renal failure, sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction, ARDS, multiple trauma, severe pancreatitis, obstetric critical care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, etc. Leads the discipline with advanced management concepts and theories, achieving significant progress and development. Each year, treats a large number of critically ill patients, receiving widespread acclaim both within and outside the hospital, and holds a certain influence and position in the field.
