Has visited internationally renowned diagnostic and treatment centers including the Department of Vascular Surgery at Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic in the United States, and the Vascular Intervention Center at Park Hospital in Leipzig, Germany, as a visiting scholar on multiple occasions. Participated in the compilation of the 2019 Global Vascular Guidelines on the Management of Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischemia as a member of the global expert group for the diagnosis and treatment of lower extremity arterial disease. Specializes in vascular surgery and minimally invasive treatment: extremity arterial occlusive disease, thromboangiitis obliterans, thrombotic diseases, thoracic/abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery stenosis, visceral artery stenosis, lower extremity varicose veins, and complex hemodialysis access diseases. Since 2012, has established 2 distinctive clinical diagnosis and treatment programs at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine (South Campus): 1. "One-stop" diagnosis and treatment for diabetic foot; 2. Rapid and standardized diagnosis and treatment of hemodialysis access for uremia.
