Head of the Hydrocephalus Collaborative Group, Department of Neurosurgery, Renji Hospital Work Experience Joined the Department of Neurosurgery at Shanghai Renji Hospital in July 1989 and obtained the title of Chief Physician of Neurosurgery in Shanghai in December 2007. From 1997 to 1998, served as a senior resident in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Angers Faculty of Medicine in France, participating in over 340 various cerebrospinal surgeries, and simultaneously completed a microsurgical operation course at the Anatomy Laboratory of the University of Angers Faculty of Medicine in France. In 1994, was the first in Shanghai to apply microcatheter technology for endovascular minimally invasive treatment of various neurovascular diseases, greatly reducing surgical disability rates. In April 1996, successfully completed Shanghai's first endovascular treatment of cerebral aneurysms using a robotic arm, significantly improving the safety of interventional procedures at that time. After returning from France in 2004, served as the Head of the Tumor Treatment Group in the Department of Neurosurgery at Renji Hospital, performing surgical treatments for giant ventricular tumors, acoustic neuromas, and cerebral aneurysms. In 2006, systematically studied the standardized treatment of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) in the United States. After returning to China, established an MDT team comprising neurosurgery, neurology, geriatrics, urology, and radiology departments at Renji Hospital, creating and gradually refining China's NPH assessment and treatment protocols; simultaneously, addressing the characteristics of NPH, to reduce the adverse effects of general anesthesia on elderly patients, collaborated with anesthesiologists and surgical nurses to shorten surgical time, aiming to achieve optimal surgical outcomes. Professional Expertise To date, has completed over a thousand NPH screening cases and hundreds of surgical cases. As the Vice Chairman of the National Multidisciplinary MDT Group for Hydrocephalus of the Chinese Society of Microcirculation, has held multiple NPH training courses to improve and promote standardized treatment experience for NPH. Personal Vision Through over thirty years of medical practice, striving to contribute to reducing surgical disability rates, improving patients' quality of life, and advancing the development of neurosurgery. Personal Honors The major course of the Shanghai Medical Association Neurosurgery Division, "Experimental and Clinical Application Research on Endovascular Treatment of Cerebral Aneurysms," received the Second Prize of the 2004 Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award (Second Completing Unit, Third Completing Author).
