Research Directions and Scientific Achievements With over twenty years of clinical experience in geriatric medicine, I have accumulated extensive clinical expertise. I obtained both my master's and doctoral degrees in Gastroenterology within Internal Medicine. I have long been engaged in research on the pathogenesis, early diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors in the elderly. In recent years, I have focused on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, early diagnosis, and prevention and treatment of age-related diseases, particularly sarcopenia. I have presided over one Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one research project of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, and one Seed Fund of Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. I have published more than 20 academic papers in domestic and international medical journals, including over 10 SCI-indexed papers, and have contributed to 4 medical monographs.
