M.D., Chief Physician and Professor of the Department of Rheumatology, Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, and other rheumatic immune diseases. Education and Work Experience Graduated from Henan University School of Medicine in June 1987. From September 1993 to June 1996, pursued a master's degree at Wuhan Tongji Medical University (now Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology). From September 1996 to June 1999, pursued a doctoral degree in internal medicine at Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine), and obtained a Ph.D. in internal medicine (rheumatology specialty). After graduation, stayed at the Department of Rheumatology, Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and has worked there ever since. Research Achievements The research achievement "Molecular Basis and Clinical Significance of Abnormal Th Cell Differentiation in Lupus Erythematosus" won the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. "Series of Studies on the Molecular Basis and Clinical Significance of Abnormal Th Cell Differentiation in SLE Patients" won the Third Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. "Study on the Genetic Pathogenesis and Diagnosis and Treatment Strategies of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus" won the Second Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award and the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. Published more than 60 papers in domestic and international journals. Participated in editing or co-edited more than ten monographs, including "Prevention and Self-Care of Gout," "Analysis of Clinical Case Diagnosis and Treatment [Internal Medicine Volume]," "Advances in Modern Internal Medicine," "Immunology and Hematology," and "Theory and Practice of Internal Medicine." Research Directions Has long been engaged in research on the immune pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus, early diagnosis and standardized treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, and secondary osteoporosis in rheumatic immune diseases. Has successively applied for and completed multiple research projects funded by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Health and Education Commission, the former Ministry of Health Scientific Research Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Chinese Medical Association Development and Research Fund, and participated in research on Shanghai Key Disciplines and other projects. Has trained more than ten graduate students. Medical Expertise Has long been engaged in clinical immunology and rheumatology medical work. Completes more than 8,000 patient visits annually through expert outpatient clinics, special needs outpatient clinics, and specially appointed China-Canada international outpatient clinics. Undertakes medical work including in-hospital and out-of-hospital consultations, multidisciplinary MDT consultations for difficult and complicated diseases, remote consultations for external hospitals, and consultations for Shanghai and national cadre health care. Specializes in the early diagnosis and standardized treatment of rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjögren's syndrome, ankylosing spondylitis, dermatomyositis, systemic vasculitis, mixed connective tissue disease, connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease, IgG4-related disease, gout, and osteoporosis. For severe and refractory rheumatic diseases that do not respond to conventional treatments, adjusts treatment strategies according to the patient's condition, adopts measures such as individualized treatment, targeted therapy, and comprehensive treatment, and has achieved good results in improving disease prognosis.
