Work Experience I obtained my Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Medicine from Peking University Health Science Center. I completed nearly two years of postdoctoral training at the Stanford University Medical Research Center in the United States, during which I was honored with the "In-Training Awards for Research" at the 61st Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. For many years, I have been dedicated to clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research in obstetrics and gynecology, with particularly extensive clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of critical obstetric conditions, birth defect surveillance, and multiple pregnancies. Since October 2006, when I assumed the role of Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (overseeing obstetric services), I have led the obstetric team in treating numerous complex and critically ill pregnant women. I have actively pioneered innovative techniques, such as adopting non-conventional surgical approaches for conditions like morbidly adherent placenta and placenta percreta, continuously exploring ways to reduce maternal and neonatal complications, minimize blood loss, and decrease transfusion requirements, thereby reducing risks to the lowest possible level. Through the collective efforts of the department, no preventable maternal deaths have occurred in the past five years. Peking University Third Hospital has become a trusted and reliable regional medical treatment center for the local community and surrounding areas, and in 2009, I was awarded a special incentive allowance by the Haidian District Health Bureau for the management of critically ill pregnant women. In daily clinical practice, I uphold high professional ethics, actively engage in and contribute to public welfare initiatives, and participate in medical assistance programs for remote and impoverished regions. Research Work In recent years, Director Zhao Yangyu has led the obstetric team in conducting research on the diagnosis and treatment of special complications in multiple pregnancies. Our team was the first in China to perform fetoscopic umbilical cord vessel coagulation or cord ligation for twin reversed arterial perfusion (TRAP) sequence, and has successfully completed procedures including laser photocoagulation of placental anastomotic vessels for twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), umbilical cord ligation for selective fetal reduction in monochorionic twins with fetal anomalies, and fetoscopic release of umbilical cord entanglement in monoamniotic twins. To date, over 40 cases of fetoscopic intrauterine surgical treatments have been successfully completed, positioning our team at a relatively leading level in this field within China. I have supervised 4 Master's students and supervised or co-supervised 6 doctoral students. In recent years, I have published over 40 academic papers in both international and domestic core journals, 7 of which have been indexed in SCI. Awards and Honors I have been repeatedly recognized as an Outstanding Teacher by Peking University Health Science Center and an Outstanding Communist Party Member of Peking University. Publications and Translations I have contributed to the compilation of several textbooks, including *Chinese Obstetrics and Gynecology*, *Therapeutics in Obstetrics and Gynecology*, and *Obstetrics and Gynecology*.
