Proficient in the diagnosis and therapeutic applications of gastrointestinal endoscopy; specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal motility disorders, functional digestive disorders, and gastrointestinal microecological disturbances. Education and Professional Experience Graduated from Beijing Medical University (now Peking University Health Science Center), where she successively obtained a Bachelor of Clinical Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine degree. After graduation, she joined Peking University Third Hospital. During this period, she conducted postdoctoral research at the University Hospital of Goethe University Frankfurt in Germany as an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellow, and later served as a senior visiting scholar at a Harvard University-affiliated hospital in the United States. She has previously held the positions of Deputy Director of the Department of Gastroenterology at Peking University Third Hospital, Director of the Research Management Office at Peking University Third Hospital, Deputy Dean of the Graduate School of Peking University (Executive Deputy Dean of the Medical Division and Director of the Graduate Student Affairs Department), and Dean of the School of Nursing at Peking University (concurrent). Research Work Her primary research areas focus on neurogastroenterology, functional gastrointestinal disorders, and the gut microbiota. She led the establishment of a multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment platform for functional gastrointestinal disorders, a university-enterprise joint laboratory for the human microbiome, and a germ-free animal experimental research platform. She has successively served as the principal investigator for projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology's "863" Program, the National Key Technology R&D Program during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, key projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology's National Key R&D Program, as well as research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation. She has published over 200 articles in domestic and international professional journals, including high-impact journals such as iMeta, Gut Microbes, Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Protein & Cell, GPB, Pharmacological Research, and npj Biofilms and Microbiomes. She has served as editor-in-chief/chief translator or deputy editor for 8 textbooks and monographs, and contributed as a co-author to 16 additional works. She has supervised more than 60 postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, and master's students.
